Intelligent Electron (intelligentelectron.com) is an invite-only platform where electrical engineers work with an AI agent that reviews their circuit designs. This page explains what the platform stores, why, and how to have it removed.
What we store
- Your account. When you sign in with Google, we receive your email address, name, and profile picture, and keep them to identify your account.
- Your work. Projects, designs, files you upload or the agent writes, every earlier version of those files, your conversation with the agent, its notes, review findings, and scheduled routines. Files in a project are visible to that project's members, and a design you share with someone is visible to them.
- Public designs, only when you publish one. A design you make public is visible to anyone at its public address, without signing in: its name, description, license, the newest milestone's KiCad files, and its README, LICENSE, and NOTICE files. Your project's public handle appears in that address. Your edits since that milestone, your conversation, and the rest of the project stay private.
- Usage. How much each request to the agent cost, to apply your plan's limits, and records of what the agent did (its tools, timing, and errors) to keep it working. Errors may be reported to Sentry.
- Integrations, only when you use them.
- Google Drive: when you connect it in Settings, we store the Google account's email address, the permissions it granted, and an encrypted refresh token. The agent reads, downloads, or uploads Drive files only when a request of yours calls for it. Files it downloads are saved in your workspace. It uploads only into an "Intelligent Electron" folder it creates in your Drive.
- GitHub: when you connect it, the GitHub account's name and an encrypted refresh token. The agent reads only repositories you installed the Intelligent Electron app on, and it writes to them only by opening a pull request or pushing a milestone, each after you approve it.
- DigiKey: the part searches the agent runs for you, and their results when it saves them to your workspace.
How we use it
Only to provide the service to you. To answer a request, the agent sends the conversation and the file content it needs to our AI model provider, which generates its replies. The platform runs on Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database and sign-in), and Cloudflare R2 (file storage).
We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone except these service providers, as needed to run the platform.
Visitors to public designs
Viewing a public design needs no account and sets no cookie. Like any website, our hosting provider receives your IP address and browser details with each request; we use them only to deliver the page, to limit how often one address can call it, and for security.
Google user data
Intelligent Electron's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google Drive data only to carry out the requests you make to the agent. We do not use it to train AI models, and people at Intelligent Electron do not read it unless you ask us to for support, it is needed for security, or the law requires it.
Security
Data travels over HTTPS. Integration refresh tokens are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM), and short-lived access tokens are created on the server for each use and never stored. Only the platform's server reads the database; your browser cannot query it directly.
Keeping and deleting your data
- We keep your data, including every version of your files, while your account is active.
- Make a public design private again at any time: its page answers "not found" within about a minute. Copies people downloaded or forked while it was public stay with them, under the license you chose.
- Disconnect Google Drive at any time in Settings > Integrations. That revokes the app's access at Google and deletes the stored token. You can also remove access from your Google Account.
- To have your account and its data deleted, email legal@intelligentelectron.com or ask the person who invited you to Intelligent Electron. We delete it on request.
Changes
This is a first version, pending review by a lawyer. If this policy changes, we will update this page and its date. See also the Terms of Service.
